i wish i went fishing there... you can get peacock, largemouth, smallmouth, and rock bass over there... Its the best place for bass fishing

What lure were you using brother? I am stocking my tackle box for when it gets warm again. I got some Rapalas and a Ratt-L-Trap. That fish you caught is a bit different color shades than the ones I catch. They are either dark green or something else. I have caught some with the 3 bars on the sides. I hope those are the ones that grow to mammoth size like in the Amazon!

That is a nice lake along with an awesome fish. I recently saw a school of Peacock bass of around 10-15 fish swimming together in the lake I go to. I go fishing about twice a week and got many many videos of my fishing. Check them out and see what you think. My personal best was a 20 inch Peacock weighing about 4-6 lbs. 5 stars.

it's a "butterfly" peacock, they max out at about 12lbs. The big ones are the "pavones" and they are not found in Florida. the bait was a soft swimming bait.

YOU CAN FIND THE PEACOCKS ALL OVER SOUTH FLORIDA FROM FT. LAUDERDALE SOUTH..The water temps get too cool north of there.
