I hear this on his outtakes box an dwas surprised I had missed it. for sure oe of his best songs and sadly unerrated. He is at his best here both with technique and feeling. What a magical singer he is.

The song and the band Claude Jones was first recognized by then New York producer Donald Johnston. He was responsible for the eventual release of an ep for Claude Jones under his Company 1 and Gifford Productions banner in 1971. Over the years Johnston was involved with the management of famed New York City folk rock band The Blue Project,Blood, Sweat & Tears,SId Bernstein and the glory days of CBS.
