This was my very first movie serial. I saw it in re-release in 1949 at age 6. Bill Elliott at that time was making A westerns at Republic under the name of "William Elliott" as it appears in the credits. In 1938, when the serial was originally released, he was using the name "Gordon Elliott." It was this serial that gave him the billing "Wild Bill" which he continued to use in the features.
