Too many: seem to have forgotten, don't know, don't care about, or, simply ignore, the fact that there are STILL so damn many of the bloody things (something like 20,000-30,000[!] nuclear bombs and warheads) lying about - armed - just waiting to be used....

Oh so very true!
People seem to think that with the break up of the Soviet Union that there is no chance these weapons will ever be used but as I'm sure you know the risk is still there.
