it's very apt for a song about the Irish sea, beautiful but ultimately sad and gloomy. dont think the song allowed for sellafield's radiation though, hehe.

that spiral cut to the photo of the boat at the end was hauntingly beautiful. Careful with that intonation.

I know this as "The Arran Boat" and as a Scottish tune. ( Arran is a Scottish island not far from where I grew up ) Regardless of it's origins, which are open to debate, it's a great tune at any speed - lament, ballad, rowing song, march, jig - which is why it's survived so well. Nice playing Will ! :)

I believe Will is playing a Burke in this video.
Hi! Beautiful!! Another hit by you! Is this song also called "Arran Boat Song"? You are a very talented person! Thanks again for sharing so much with the world!

Can you PLEASE send me the sheet music on this piece! I love it and want to try it on my tin whistle.....
I have a Clare whistle, is that a feadog?

I'm sorry but I have no sheet music for this tune. :(
You are correct, a Clare whistle, as are all whistles, is a feadóg. (Irish for the English word "whistle" is "feadóg".) This should not be confused with Feadóg Whistles which are a particular brand of tin whistles. ;-)
