Circumcision Protest - University of Chicago

Dan Strandjord discusses the personal events that led to his becoming an intactivist and the human rights issues around genital integrity. Strandjord believes all children, male, female and intersex have an inherent human right to genital integrity. He protests against genital surgery forced on infants and children almost daily outside the University of Chicago Hospital.

point being this guy cares to much.but also like i said if there was more people like this fighting for what they believe in the world would be a better place. i just think that his time and drive can be better focused on ANY other of the much larger problems facing our civilisation.

@Nifrayu Circumcision is NOT part of the Christian Tradition. In 50 ce it was decided that Christians did not need to follow the Jewish law such as keeping Kosher and circumcision. This council is often referred to as the council of Jerusalem. It is thanks to Paul that Christians no longer need to have their children circumcised. In 1 Corinthians 7:18-19, it clearly states that circumcision is not required. Galatians 5:2-6. Additional 2297 of the Catechism does not support circumcision.

@wasan2ffs Right, this is the same reason why I won't go down on my girlfriend. Her clitoral hood is nasty. Her mother should have circumcised her. *Sarcasm* If your girlfriend really cares for you, your penis status should not matter. In a way, she is just being xenophobic (although circumcision is now no longer the norm in America). In Europe, women prefer their men with foreskin. I also applaud his effort.
