If perfection was ever achieved in jazz music this has to be it. Eight musicians (I include Billie in that designation) at the very top of their game and in balance with each other, relaxed and magnificent. Lester never played a better solo than the one he does here. I've been listening to this for over fifty years and the imagination and conception of the man still astound me.

@mrkenusa I agree, but it's interesting that Tony Bennett wanted her for HIS album (Duets II). I engineering magic going on, she sang well with Tony (you'd better or he'd boot you out of the studio!)...
