@spikeman23 I do realize that upper toms are now refered to as rack toms but lets not forget that terms for drumming equipment changes with the times. The basic "KIT" he is playing was called a "SET" a 1 point and even that was shortened from being called a "TRAP SET" many years before. The "THRONE" he now sits on was a stool or chair many yrs ago....and RACK TOMS use to refer to toms mounted on an upper RACK SYSTEM but has now become the generic term for all UPPER TOMS :)

@spikeman23 lol Aside from the fact that his drumset is not of the "RACK" style, I would totally agree! haha We are talking about one of Pearls basic sets. (And thats a good set to start on) He would not only need to reoutfit his entire set with the RACK with which to mount his toms on but he would also need to throw out his current mounting hardware to get the proper mounting hardware for a "RACK" system. In any case, I was just trying to let him know which toms I was refering to.
