Btw im not sure how much you got this phone for, but if you have a Costco membership, look into buying phones there. We sell the Thrill for $30 on upgrade and our particular costco gives a 90 day return policy, even if you dont like it!!!

I just got my LG Thrill the other day, for free cause I work as an authorized dealer . Im loving it to be honest. Battery life could be a little better yes, but that will definitely be improved with 2.3. Btw I saw a battery on amazon for the thrill, I believe it was a 1750 mAh for $30, BUT it doesnt add any extra thickness to the phone, so it still keeps its slim profile. That might be something to look into. HIGHLY doubt ICS version on it, they only announced 2.3 on ATT phones this year..
