  • Thank you for sharing these precious clips which are bringing back a lot of memories not only to the Vietnam Era veterans but also to many people living in the South esp. Saigon back then. I grew up when the war was over. I feel very lucky to survive it! I wish you good health, Mr borntowarnder !

  • Fantastic set of videos showing wartime and present Vietnam structures and sites. Thanks for posting this video.

  • Really well done. Do you have similar videos for Hue and Damang?

  • Wow! At EXACTLY the shot in the beginning of this clip showing where the former USAF base side gate was... i crashed my motorbike 5 years ago- into that central reservation. I was unconcious and really beat up. I still have big lump on my head to prove!!!

  • am no fan of communism or any other ism, however compared to the wonderful USA which is over $10 trillion USD in debt, has started more wars on foreign countries than any other superpower, has a habit of supporting corrupt regimes and deserting its allies once it has gotten what it wants from them, renegs on promises. the world ain't fair for sure. ask any African American, Laotian or countless others.

  • see how the communist leaders have done for Vietnam. Vietnam is still one of the poorest country in the world. It's cool to see lot of motobikes in saigon now
