Short poetic cartoon made for the 53rd Venice Art Biennale, collateral event, and presented at the Peggy Guggenheim Foundation. Inspired by Easter Island popular stories and its Rongo Rongo tablets, and accompanied by a piece of the Commedia dell'Inferno written and read by the poet Edoardo Sanguineti. Really interesting interaction between theatre, poetry and visual animation. Great finale with spiral drawing images and words that compose themselves from a line. The austerity of all the techniques mixed up together gave to me a deep sense of the concept of "sacrum".
