Opportunity Mars Rover - "Into Victoria"

Follow the Opportunity Rover as it approaches, and enters Victoria Crater on Mars.

This will be an ongoing project, regularly updated and added to. The video will grow as "Oppy" explores its surroundings inside this fascinating environment.

This is very much a work in progress. it will have music and be extended very soon. Also you'll be able to visit my site and download a full res DVD version.

Yep..that particular part of the movie shows the Opportunity Rovers time during a severe Martian dust time, you are seeing wind blown particles on the camera.

From 0.25 to 0.49 we see a mosaik in the sand.

This could be an ancient artist's conception of a martian warrior.

The wind has blown away the sand and we can get a first impression about what the martians look like! They are headless and this one is obviously a male.
