Celox™ granules are the first in a new generation of emergency hemostatic agents. They are simple to use and highly effective. Celox™ granules quickly control even the most severe arterial bleeding. Just pour it in, pack it, and apply pressure. No specific training is required. Celox™ clots blood fast, works in hypothermic conditions and also clots blood containing heparin or warfarin. Celox™ does not generate heat in use and won't burn. Celox™ is safe to use for the entire body including head, neck and chest wounds.

  • You can't use it in the thoracic cavity. Celox absorbs all moisture, and that can affect the lungs, making breathing difficult.

  • I'm not a huge fan of animal testing either, but it's no worse than eating factory farmed meat, which millions of people do every day. It's unfortunate, but this is one of the more justifiable forms of animal cruelty. Yes, it is cruel, but unfortunately it's the lesser of two evils if it saves human lives. Hopefully one day there will be a more humane alternative.

  • its 15g

  • Is that a 15g sachet or bigger? (Guessing a lot larger like but still, thought i'd ask)

  • Thank you for your product, It saves lives.

As far as animal testing, I would rather a pig take one for the team than my kids!

  • @thekapow Would you like to volunteer to do live testing?

  • @thekapow you ignorant bastard

  • I've used this stuff in live training situations on an anesthetized pig. It's incredible, and unlike the Quik-clot stuff the military used to give us, there isn't a significant risk of damage to the victim because of the clotting agent getting into the bloodstream.
