Dr. Etta Pisano addresses the new breast cancer screening guidelines that were released on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. The guidelines advise against routine mammograms for women in their 40s, and suggest women 50 to 74 only get a mammogram every other year instead of yearly. The guidelines, issued by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, were intended to balance the benefits of saving lives with the harms of false alarms and the cost and trouble of extra tests. Dr. Pisano says that lives are saved through mammography and she doesn't agree with the guideline set by the USPSTF that says women in their 40s shouldn't be screened.

Thanks so much, Dr. Pisano. It seems to me than financial or political considerations influenced these advisers.
P.S. It is the exceedingly rare person that can pull off parting hair down the middle. Your gorgeous hair would be very flattering with an asymmetric part.
