Nothing is more rewarding than being of a service to God, while doing what you love to do most. Mixing live sound at my local church. Soundcraft makes it a joy. May the prayers lift your spirits as only God can do.

  • Hi from Perú.

Im gonna use the same console as you in a few days at my Church´s Highschool, and already feeling blessed by God. Hope can make a good job there.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @emanuelog I know you will do a great job, just PFL all the inputs one at a time set them to zero DB and you'll have a great mix.

  • Thanks for the video. I mix for my church on a 36-Channel Soundcraft Delta 8 and most of the time I don't know what I'm doing right or wrong.

  • @TruthSeeker247365 I feel ya, I thought you may like this booklet. It is, hands down, the best written, most easy to understand guide to mixing ever written. Doing it right all the time will be easy for you. Not only will your mixes always be stellar, but you will get the full understanding of the fx loop signal chain, and gain structure. You will be the one showing everyone else how to run things in no time. Good luck and God bless, David.

  • @voxin2 Go to the soundcraft website

Look for the guide to mixing booklet

  • This way, I use all the sonic qualities of the board without clipping. Clipping is the only killer besides a weak signal compensated by under driven amps.

  • ...give me your money hallelujah!

  • @voxin2 thanks for the input I will be looking over the guide for sure.

  • i love that mixer, best analog mixer i have ever used

  • @Joeldg11 When you read the Soundcraft book "Soundcraft guide to mixing" you'll find that the board is set up for max headroom based on 0db PFL settings. Because this board has 100mm faders and massive headroom, I actually run my mix @-5bd on the master. Soundcraft recommends 0db. Are you using a Mackie? When my PFL's are all set to unity gain, I have a field day. When I want more gain on particular channel strips, I utilize my subgroups, 123and4.
