The broad jump burpee combines a broad jump, squat, and push up into one incredibly taxing exercise. When done consecutively, broad jump burpees work the entire body and act as a great conditioning exercise as well. In addition, the broad jump burpee utilizes important skills such as weight transfer and combining movements smoothly and efficiently.

  • Hey, here is an idea with burpees,

Do them under a bar so when you jump up, you do a pull up.

  • leap frog for badasses

  • pretty good, but try bringing your hands to your feet instead of 0:10 bringing your feet to your hands

  • this is tiring as heck after awhile

  • aweesome!!, i'm a beginner in all of these physical exercises... i'd like to know which is ideal in Series/Repetitions for I do on this Burpee?! thanks xDD

  • The first time my hand pokes a sticker, I'd be done.

  • We did these in 7th and 8th grade offseason football...

  • I did this the other day, and it smoked me. I liked it in the odd way of one who has aquired a taste for cruel and unusual punishments. I also like the variety int he jump - jumping forward moreso than up.

  • Here's an idea. Why don't you do a roll after the jump and roll right into the push up, then jump up and do it again? That way, you could integrate rolls as well and make sure that those are good too.
