Excellent video, very inclusive and detailed. Also appreciate the step by step list at the end. One note people should be aware of to only use a plastic knife or flat spatula to remove air bubbles from jars with food. A metal knife could possibly scratch the inside of the jar making it weaker, and a place for germs to hide. Thanks for making such a good video.

You will only have ground meat crumbles. If you want patties or meatballs, etc, you have to cook them in that form and then can. If you try that, make sure you use wide mouth jars. Also, if you try to can ground meat in raw form (as you can with chopped meat), the meat can form a tight "loaf" and there is some concern that botulism will not be killed deep within the center. Should be safe for a few years, but like many canned items, they may truly last much much longer...
