NETANYAHU: If I had to offer an analogy...to explain to Americans what it is that is so dangerous about Iran aquiring nuclear weapons. You remember those crazy people in Waco, Texas? Imagine David Kuresh with nuclear weapons. Imagine David Kuresh not with hundreds of followers, but millions of followers, with nuclear weapons wanting to obliterate America, wanting to obliterate America's allies, wanting to take over the world's oil supply. If the lunatics escape from the asylum, that's one thing. But they can get their hands on nuclear weapons, that's another.

As a PRIVATE CITIZEN, you can do a lot--you can organize relief (I've done this), an NGO (I've done this), spearhead an awareness campaign (I've done this), even head on over there and fight if you so desire (haven't done this...yet :)! The point is, the government is not involved. I myself am deeply involved in the struggle to free Tibet and East Turkestan from China. But I CERTAINLY don't want the federal government to send troops to Beijing!

As for helping others who are being oppressed, even in other countries, that is all well and good--but NOT for the federal government!!! I don't know about you, but I don't want the (mostly ignorant) snakes in Washington deciding who we're going to "help," how, and for how long.
