Hello, Id like to just clear up some of the things Ive said in my video: Rant on PC Gaming. I would just like to clear up that I underestimated some of the things I said in my previous video, and I would like to apologize for that. Some of the assumptions I made about PC gaming were based on my previous experiences, and my older machines that could not handle most games. I apologize for not researching the topic and in general, not understanding the topic I was talking about. The main point that I was trying to get across was that that the PC does not have one consolidated online gaming experience as with the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, but that has been changing with X-fire, Games for Windows, and GameSpy. After some of the comments I have received on my Rant on PC Gaming video, I decided to research the topic, and have a better understanding of what I was talking about. First of all, I have found PC gaming is superior to video game consoles. Second of all, using a mouse and keyboard is more accurate, and more customizable that a videogame controller. And if you dont like using a keyboard and mouse, you can easily go out and buy a controller. Thirdly, the graphics on a PC are superior to those of a console depending on your hardware. This is a common misconception among console gamers because they most likely do not own a PC gaming rig and have not experienced the joy of gaming on a PC. Online gaming on games independently is a much greater experience then Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Since that video, I built my own PC and I use it for gaming all the time now, but I also use my Xbox 360, which I use mainly for playing Halo 3, arguably my favourite videogame. In conclusion, it all depends on what type of gaming experience you want. The more time and money you invest on a gaming platform, the better experience youll have, and it just hurts me to see people investing a very little amount of money and time for what is a less rich gaming experience. I hope that we have come to an understanding, and I sincerely apologize for all of my false assumptions.

There's no need to apologize. PC gaming is indeed an inexpensive hobby, has its own unique problems users must overcome, and also doesn't have some of the great games consoles do. At the same time, if done right it can beat consoles in terms of the overall experience and has some of its own experiences unique to its platform.

I like the topic of rants all-together and although I disagree with your original PC rant, I've subscribed to see what you produce in the future. Keep up the good work.

@TheYoungBoyScout lets see i have a 7 yr old computer that can play all games to current date, i build a new computer every 2 yrs, because i can, i always turn my previous system into a server.i did not upgrade anything on that system. explain to my why is it only you that has to update every yr? i have video cards that are over 7 yrs old still running like new, talk as if you are an enthusiast gamer like myself, build an amazing computer one yr play on it for 10yrs and be fine

Hes forgetting to mention that the game companies are in bed with the Pc parts industry.Have you ever notice the lil label on every game box called system requirments and it dont take long that you need a faster cpu or more ram or that new video card just to play that latest game..So if your a gamer like you say you are you really have no choice then to upgrade when that lil game box tells you to.So if your a true PC gamer they got you by the balls because they love your money

@TheMortalpain Yeah I bet they are probably just looking at name brand stuff like Alienware, you can get a Pc that will play most games for less then probably 400$ even if you didnt get name brand ;D
