iOmniscient

The IQ-140 uses iOmniscients internationally patented Non-Motion Detection (NMD) technology which is capable of ignoring motion in order to detect stationary security threats. IQ-140 works in busy and crowded scenes, despite constant movement in front of and around an object, even if it is fully obscured for periods of time. The detection time is fully user-configurable from seconds to minutes or even hours, to suit any environment and situation. Because of the nature of the technology it is extremely robust even in scenes of high movement and large crowds.

Applications
• Left Object Detection in a crowded scene
• Moved Object Detection in a crowded scene
• Theft (object removal) Detection in a crowded scene
• Graffiti/Vandalism Detection in a crowded scene
• Parking Violation Detection in a crowded scene
• Accident/Breakdown Detection in a crowded scene
The system will certainly also work in all the above applications in an uncrowded scene

Features:

• Recommended Minimum Detection Time: 30 seconds at 2 frames per second. The minimum detection time can be reduced by operating the system at higher frame rates.
• Maximum Detection time: Unlimited. Note that very high detection times will increase the storage requirements for holding the alarm information.
• Permitted Obscuration: Up to 50% of Detection Time. Significant obscuration at the end of the detection period may occasionally result in a false detection.
• Recommended Learning Time: Four times Detection Time. Shorter learning time is feasible if the scene is not crowded during the learning period. Very short learning periods can result in false detections for a short period when the system first starts up
• Multiple Areas of Interest can be set. Areas of Interest can be rectangular or polygonal
• Size and Aspect Ratio filters can be used to define the object to be detected.
• Minimum Size of object to be detected: 8 x 8 pixels

The Nuisance Alarm Minimization system can cope with many different situations including:
• Light or shadows slowly creeping across the scene.
• Sudden global light changes
• Fluttering leaves, waving trees
• Moving water
