@waterbrother007 Hi Geoff, I was self-taught in 1973 via the book, True Flight. Later, I got some free coaching from various instructors and pilots at Warren Dunes in Michigan. Cheers, Jonathan

Jonathan: Thanks for the inspiration and instructional videos. Just starting out at the ripe age of 55. Where did you start learning when you where young?

@NMERider Ok awsome, thanks!

@PETZ95 Normally we go up in a group on a truck that somebody else drives down so there's no reason to get back up the mountain. However, there are advanced skills that allow the pilot to safely land going up the side of the mountain. Also we normally do no fly further than we can easily glide out to civilization. Please watch my latest pair of video and you will see me flying over large areas of wilderness. Not everyone does this or even wants to do this. ;-)
Is it important to have ear holes in your helmet ?

@bnieves100 Yes. Mine are covered with a layer of tape to stop the poorly designed holes from roaring.

@TheIndustrialphreak Aw come on Mike. This is tame compared to many of my other videos. Try watching Part 1 - Ord to Indio - 74 Miles - 5-19-2011, for a better idea of what it can be like. ;-)
