  • just btw's he's playing a black fox 601.

  • the bassoon is incredibly difficult... the way the modern germen system is configured makes it even harder. anyone can pick up an instrument and play through that instruments most famous etude books in months time, the real question is, does that mean you know the instrument? no...

  • @CloneHat The eyebrows are key.

  • Playing Clarinet is my main so that is why i am a novice at Bassoon. But I know a lot of key elements. (lol, I'm trying to specialize in reed instruments, single and double.)

  • I really wish he'd get the spit out of his reed so that you can't hear the spit in his tone. I am a novice and I know how to get that out of my tone.

  • "Repeat this phrase over and over again (and move your eyebrows every time)."

  • i think he has a very airy enclosed sound

  • @halokid7 Although I do agree Fox's are very nice and have great models for college students. I actually love my Schrieber which I bought used a couple years ago after it sat for 25 years in someones closet. It has served me well even under the circumstances. Obviously if I had a chance to buy a Heckel I would in a heart beat xD

  • @halokid7 i have to say the worst bassoons are made from Accent. mainly because they are plastic tanks lol but the intonation on them is just horrid.

  • Hold down 3. lol

  • his bassoon is NOW ON SALE!!!!! at miller marketing!! meh cant afford it poo

  • That is just a beautiful basson...I love bassoon..I would never play anything else :)
