Sanyo is pretty useless on recommending editors. I just found out the hard way that Pinnacle Studio 12 freezes when editing 1080/60p. But QuickTime has no problem playing it. I think I'll spring for Quicktime Pro if it can do the down conversion. I'm pretty happy with the video quality from the Sanyo - it looks good on the right monitor, but straight uploads to YouTube loose contrast and detail - how come your video looks so good on YouTube? It doesn't even look compressed!

Hehe thanks! Hard to notice when so many things are happening in the background lol!

If I may ask, what customizations did you make on the cinelike D scene file?

Lowering the master ped, it crushes the blacks.

what did you use to make it look cinema...is it something you put in front of the lens...I'm new to this...

No, just the stock lense plus customizations on the Scene settings of the camera to achieve the look of film.

Have you considered using NeoScene from Cineform? ProRes files are huge I here. 70 gigs per hour - yikes!!

I do use Cineform now since I use Premiere. ProRes was used when I edited in FInal Cut Pro.
