@ninvin21 The dude was spraying the place with his AK-47. Yeah, 10-20 cops aiming for his head might take him out, but how many of them would've gotten hit?

@CrapsterZ There heads had no Body armor. If they would have got 10-20 cops to try for head shots all at the same time one of them would have hit the mark.

I can shoot a balloon with a handgun at 100 yards why can't the cops? You can buy a full auto for over 3,000 or you can make one illegally full auto for $100.

I live close to hollywood and before this shoot out police only Carry 9mm handguns now because of this they carry .40 which has much more stopping power soo i guess this had to happen.

As I call them?? I didn't give civilian owned machine guns that name, thats just what they are called when you own one "privately".
If you want to know exactly how many were used in crimes, do some research. That was not the point of the comment, it is just a number that I found shocking for 1988
