@FireFistAce111 Ice cream is unhealthy. Such treatment you promote is psychologically confusing and trains children to think in a paranoid/irrational manner w/ regards to other people. My guess is you are projecting personal experience onto reality. All beating of children is dysfunctional and breeds people who beat their own children.

The Ten Commandments and Ephesians chapter 6 do not entail honoring abusive parents. They do not entail children having to endure abuse in the name of honoring one's parents. No child should let their parents injure them in the name of respect. Respect does not entail endurance of abuse. I think the parents in question should get the death penalty.

I was adopted at age 8 years of age. My religious mother tortured me physically in the name of God for exactly this scriptural reason. Horrible what happened to this little girl...my heart is breaking for all of them.
