just to name a few. when it comes to the political thing, if you should compare it to artists everyone has heard of you can comare it to the whole flower power-scene, and maybe john lennon (give piece a chanse etc)

@kyrastube I'm listening to this song all over again with your comments. I always envy Swedish music scenes since they have so many charming artists who have had worldwide enormous success as well.

I am a huge indie music fan in South Korea and I've listened to some great singer-songwriters from your country.

Thanks to your detailed comments, I got more background knowledge about Turid and the music scene she was into.

@MzSonicjinn well, I am swedish, so no problem for me. ;) but she was part of a political music-movement in the 60s and 70s here in sweden called "progg" (has nothing to do with what rest of the world calls progressive rock tho) most were communists or just angry at the state the world was in in general. but I was born in 1982, so dont know many of the people she sings about in this song, she mention them by name if you listen carefully

@MzSonicjinn its about (amongst other things) the war in vietnam (the time the song was written) and the voilence of the police and military. very very left-wingish song.
