"Major Tom" stands for methamphetamine. There is a double connotation to temptation here, as represented by the apple, the red apple of seduction. The reference is addiction to knowledge, tasting of the forbidden fruit. Knowledge has its uses but along w it comes the power of destruction. In Death Note, "Light" is given such power. He discovers that he can eliminate all the people that society judges to be criminals (those he sees escaping punishment) by merely writing their name in a book. Furthermore, by this magical means, he can kill from anywhere in the world, keeping himself above suspicion. Is the apple also a reference to a Mac Book? A rumour from Ground Control.

End song is "Boys, Boys, Boys" by Lady Gaga. The clip at the beginning was cell phone video coverage taken of guys in white suits in Santa Clara allegedly performing nuclear testing of the water earlier this week.

  • I used to own this record when it came out, and "Ashes to Ashes" was my favorite. I really like your video.. Good job! {Except for that horrible woman's voice at the end}
