@bestwaffleg [5 months later...] He also had excellent power despite the average OBP and during his prime would save an average of 25 runs defensively, which for an average if downright insane good. He may be rather average as far as the good hitters go, but he was the best defensive CFer of this era bar none, maybe of all time, Griffey doesn't hold a candle to Jones (cue the Griffey fans hating on that)
