Yes, this trailer makes this show seem scary and all "B-horrorish" but later on it takes a much more important turn of events and really teaches us a lesson about how we live our lives. This show should definitely not be missed.

This anime, Higurashi and Perfect Blue are one of the best animated psychological thrillers ever IMO.

It was ok to me, becuase it was a show of symbolism and made for people with understanding of japanese folklore I didn't get that much, it was almost like a giant acid trip. I didn't know where the real began and the imginary ended
