Tafford Corporation -- "Gas Line Inspections" Pt #1

You would be surprised the things you will learn as you get older......that is if all your faculties are still intact. I don't know that much about natural gas except lighting the pilot on a gas stove. This company like others in it's field do gas line inspections. Every 10 years or less gas lines have to be inspected. The Problem: It seems the positive electrons actually erode the steel pipes which could cause dangerous conditions. The Solution: 32oz Magnesium bars are placed against the pipes in various locations and these magnesium bars counteract the electrons and instead of eating through the steel pipes they eat the magnesium.
