Cruising the Queensland Coast - The Narrows - Curtis Island

The Narrows is a calm inland waterway which is between Curtis Island and the mainland and links Gladstone Harbour with Keppel Bay at the mouth of the Fitzroy River.

The area known as the Cattle Crossing is the shallowest part of this passage and should be negotiated as close as possible to high tide.
