realized only with open source software
PURE DATA, GEM, OpenNI, UBUNTU.
First try, but already pretty useable and a fun to play with.

Really inspiring work. The use of finger touches as a means to select different tools which work with skeletal data is by far the most interesting part of this experiment.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that this would be the best use of the Kinect (for me that is). Now imagine using this kind of concept with Zbrush and sculpting something in a matter of minutes opposed to hours!!! There is a time consuming barrier with making 3D art and this the makings of a bridge to crossing over that barrier.
