Yes, this new show is a fake. Back then, it was about real competitors, with real intensity. Now, its about over hyped drama, stupid scripted lines, and unrealistic emotion--all for your "entertainment". And how some of you actually believe that this is real is beyond me!  In all, a lot of people are just peeved because this is a REAL INSULT to the classic American Gladiator series many people grew up watching.

People have yet to understand what sports ENTERTAINMENT is. There's no need to prove any point what's fake and what's not if you know its sports entertainment. It may have been rehearsed or not but all is meant for tv ratings and the revenue generation and they're not real competition. Pain is real when shit happens but at the same time may be dramatized for the hype. Same goes for WWE. It's world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT ! There's no need to talk trash much if it's for real.

How is the Blue guy making a sudden comeback Ironic? Irony is a deviation in what you expect to happen and what acctually happens. Some guy making a comeback is just a comeback. Not an example of irony.
