FESTOOL ROTEX RO90 ROUGH_SANDING

Here is a short video clip of the Festool Rotex 90 shown on the Holz 2010 Fair in Basel, Switzerland. The Rotex was presented by the Mr.Keller from Festool, who gave it a hard time sanding down a three layered coating of primer, paint and clear varnish on an old Window shade. The abrasive used was the new Granat 40 paper, which showed its peak performance. It took roughly 45 sec to sand down the cross grain part of the frame. Really impressive. This machine save a lot of work and has great dust colleaction, as you can see in the close-up.
