In the ending rifts, you can hear where Clapton got his influence. I have never heard this version of George Jones, who I say with Tammy Wynette, back in 70s. And the master B.B. King, they did a great job. I have the original version

I always loved this song....just watched Pawnstars and they were buying the Grammy for Ronald Dunbar the writer of the song

Just to let all you Patches fans know. THE GRAMMY IS BACK ON MY MANTLE
THANKS TO THE GRAMMY FOUNDATION. Also my Partner General Johnson is now deceased I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Resurrection (Acts 24:15)
Every time I her it, I'm reminded of the day we wrote it. General had a love song called "I'm depending on you" I said that was to typical we needed something with more substance. , since you are from the south, lets make it a emotional life situation.
