What seems to be common is that both Federer and Roddick catches the racquet after following through in the return of serve,.

Sorry for the long delay in my response I have been busy teaching all summer. Yes that is a great observation! Since the stroke is more compact it is easier to finish the stroke with both hands on the racquet. Thanks for watching. Play well.
