Muscles - Ice Cream

The song by Muscles entitled Ice Cream is a snapshot of behaviour in society today. The song deals with issues surrounding social expectations, awkwardness, silence, paranoia, fear, anxiety, hope, individuality, identity, happiness, and heroic deeds in a culture swamped with idealistic vision and overwhelmingly large populations.

This project sets out to answer the questions: how does ice cream save the day, and how did it save the day last time? The style has a bubblegum-gloss to it with shiny vector shapes and bright colours, but also have this uneasy undertone of repression.

This was my final large project for Monash Universitys digital arts studio. It was created using Adobe After Effects CS4.

This is brilliant. High compliments from somebody who did not study at university but has a keen interest in human behavior and an out-of-the-box kind of mind. I have loved this song for years as well :)
