We get behind the wheel of the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

In 2012, the overhaul of the Jeep Wrangler that first started in 2011 is now complete. With major interior upgrades to last year's model, the 2012 Jeep Wrangler receives a new, more powerful engine that increases horsepower output by 40 percent while still improving its efficiency over the 2011 Wrangler V-6 engine. This, and a host of other changes, all add up to make what was already the most capable production-model off-road vehicle even better.

Thing is your abs is going to be able to do a lot of a job keeping you in straight line. Plus the ability the brake the wheels that need it the most is going to help a lot in preventing you from slipping rather then just having engine braking on all four wheels. Ever watch a video where they compare a car on a slippery surface that has a abs and one that doesn't how the one without it spins out. The same concept applies.

Well i dont crawl down pavement or hard pack dirt. Hill descent or not, your tires are going to break traction and begin sliding on a loose surface no matter what. This feature may be nice on hardpack, but anything else from ice to loose rock, if you're at anything beyond a 45 degree hill, your tires are gonna lose grip. Id rather have a gas pedal and a clutch to work with if shit hit the fan on a big downhill rather than a computer that is telling my rig what to do. Just my $.02 !
