Well, come on Wall Street, don't move slow,
Why man, this is war au-go-go.
There's plenty good money to be made
By supplying the Army with the tools of the trade,

Because thats definitely NOT why we were involved in WWII.
The United States tried to avoid getting involved with that part of the war.

Hey, man there are sometimes good reasons for wars. Wars themselves are horrible things though. People get butchered and blown up. Life is extinguished. The song incapsulates what's wrong with Vietnam and every war since. BTW, I'm not a Nazi, just a hippy. I'm on your side about Hitler, man. He had stopped. But for example, my great grandfather died in WW2 at the Bulge, and my grandfather never got to meet his own father. I just wish there was a better way for us humans to solve our problems.

So when another Adolf Hitler comes and tries to wipe out an entire race and is bent on world domination we should sit with our thumbs up our asses.

I agree most wars are started because of a bunch of bullshit but there is such thing as righteous war.

I'd never heard this song until now. I just read an interview with Joe from the book Patriots and I had to see what that Anti-war song was all about.
