i listened to every one of his shows as a kid and ended up in radio years later. a total genius often copied but no-one ever came close

You don't know what you had till it's gone we are so lucky there is all these sound bits out there for generations to enjoy what we grew up with. The man was ahead of his time just think what he could produce today god bless cuddly ken our radio friend x

Great to listen to this again after all these years. I used to record Kens shows in the late 60s/early 70s and still have the tapes somewhere although I can't play them at the moment! I remember he used to insert snippets of backwards recordings from time to time. I caught one on tape once and very carefully dragged the tape backwards across the heads to discover the message "I bet you're all playing this back to find out what it says!" Genius, indeed!

He was truly a comic genius, both on radio and Television. Couldn't he just come back to this world for one day or week even....and give us all a laugh again?
