i was pretty poor at first. i could get it pretty high up but shit myself and slammed it back down! i used to roll on the throttle in first gear untill i got used to keeping it up! now i do it in second on the power no clutch! it comes up sweet at about 55-60 and i put it down at about 120mph! good luck buddy

Come on man all tht power and u have no clue how to use it. But hey at the the peeps at the dealership got u some pretty matching gear. lmao

you gotta let off (nose dive) and then quickly roll -on/up the bike. 1st gear roll-ons are the easiest way to teach a person to get use to balance points. IMHO.

LOTS of ignorant posts on this one so I had to comment. First off, clutch ups on a liter bike are just fine. Most people actually recommend clutch ups because they are safer and more predictable. Secondly, GREAT JOB. These are not sweet wheelies by any means but its how you are SUPPOSED to start. You are getting the feel for the acceleration. The idiots saying "dont use the clutch" probably dont have a bike. BTW Check out MCN's guide to wheelies (anyone starting out).
