@beautifulsarah100 You can see in the "Talk to Me" video after Ace's solo Gene's appreciation for Ace as he waves his fist. Gene respected Ace and didn't hate him. He was frustrated with Ace cause Ace was a free spirit who probably carried a "I'll leave this band at the drop of a hat" attitude the whole time he was in Kiss.

This song makes me think of Ace's alleged bisexuality. Gordon Gebert said Ace was bi in his smear book "KISS & Tell". Ace was so wasted most of the time I doubt he was very picky. He is probably try-sexual. He will try anything.
