CN #2554 Has A P3

June 12, 2008: Canadian National C44-9WL #2554 has an uncharacteristic new-cast Nathan P3 horn. Also with Norfolk Southern C39-8E #8671 and Canadian National SD75I #5662. Somewhere in the train I spotted a Delaware & Hudson gondola that says 'DELAWARE' & HUDSON'
This was shot from the steps of AC Tower in Marion, Ohio. This is NOT a CN line it's an NS line.

P3s should get more common on CN because new cast ones play D minor.

I originally thought it was a P5, at first. I even had titled this video that it had a P5 until somebody corrected me. I figured it was a horn off an Illinois Central locomotive.

Its called an interlocker & the horn is a P3. Pause at :40 & look at it.

yeah new P3s are musical, new P5s are nothing more then 5 screamers wishing they sounded like the M5 like the old ones did.
