My back yard is 1260' long grass with 15' trees at one end and 40' power poles at the other. Im wondering if a Maule (and which one is most affordable) is the plane to get in and out of here. Id be flying with only 2 aboard. So Im asking owners, I read all sorts of specs but information from owners is always best. Any comments are appreciated. Or at bill45colt@yahoo.com thanks!!

I'm touched by your enthusiasm. Love it! I too am a Maule owner. I've had mine for five years now. I concur that it is "the most FUN airplane I've ever owned," although I've never owned another plane. I don't think I ever will - my Maule STOL my heart!
