Ahh yes, doubt you'll see this comment since I am replying to a one month old comment, but what does any "white" person owe any "black" person in today's society? Reparations for slavery? It is actually racist to assume that every person with a pale complexion actually owned slaves, especially since many caucasians immigrated to this country after the Civil War, and even many more were actually fighting against the south and against slavery during the Civil War.
