  • i'm born in singkawang but when i look at this people isn't so really hakka

  • There was a lot of miscigenation in the Hakka community in East Timorese. For example, my wife's father is native East Timorese, and my wife's mother is the daughter of a Hakka woman and a Japanese military (in WW2).

  • Are there still Chinese people living in East Timor ?

  • Yes, there are. But many were killed by the Indonesian army at the beginning of the invasion (75/76) and many others migrated to Australia.

  • At least 50000 timorese hakka chinese living all over Australia .

  • My friend, what happened to the Timor people, who was educated in Bahasa Indonesia, during the 25-year occupation of Indonesia, they have had to learn Portuguese?, Have had problems of rejection in the current government of Timor Leste?

  • Very nice..my friend, no doubt you found a beautiful pearl in East Timor, congratulations, wish you and your wife a very happy life. In Costa Rica, Central America, too we have a China colony , and will soon open a neighborhood in our city called "Chinatown" in San Jose, Costa Rica in Central America

  • Very interesting! You have a great family :)

  • My parents have many East Timor Hakka friends. All are mixed-blood with darker complexion than the typical Chinese. They are all Catholic. Yet, as a group their Hakka identity is stronger than the Hakkas in Singapore, Peninsula Malaysia and even Taiwan. They all speak Hakka and identify as Hakka. Hakka-ness is not defined by how you look.

  • Ne de nye va muk ger..

i cant write the pinyin xD

  • hi...nice song!!!nyi hakka timur leste he mo?i m hakka from west kalimantan!nice to meet you!!!
