The beginning is a bit slow but please bear with it. It starts out with Asuka angsting in Unit 2. and thinks back on her past realtionship with Kaworu, how she found out he was an angel, they fought and kaworu's death. It ends in the same place it began.

Note: Johnny cash is GOD! But I was hit with insperation when I heard this song (It is actually a good cover though a bit of a copy from Live)

Kaworu looks like Asuka's Avenger(big brother), or her true heart, which said to Shinji that she loves him and wanted to kill the shit in him because he hurt Asuka. Or he looks like Shinji from the future that is sorry because he lost Asuka.

Or maybe hes just 17 Angel...

If you wonder why he died, its because Shinji didn't wanted to think what options he had, Shinji was just a slave(begining of ep25).

wowza I never thought of that before. It's totally possible with eva though so you never know. I just thought Kaworu was sent to be a balance between all of the crap shinji was going through and give him a false hope (notice how the ep before the touji part was semi happy)just to make his breakdown that much worse.

The scenes where The pilots were "mind fucked" by the angels, gave kaworu the knowledge of human's loneliness

Thus he understands humans very well, and created in the image of human as well.

You really have to understand this anime isn't related to romance at all..

He truly is the final messanger for he reveals what AT-fields are.

He says that the AT-fields are the walls inbetween the hearts of human which seperates us and shapes us as well,and makes misunderstanding

This was really good. I've always wondered what kind of realationship Kaworu and Asuka would have had if they'd met in the show,and I'll guess we'll find out in the new movies.:)

Are you sure? Asuka and Kaworu don't look alike. I'd understand it if it were Rei and Kaworu, but Kaworu and Asuka?
