  • have you ever seen a flatbed on a Semi truck when unladen ? Its bent upward so it can flex flat under load. Whats wrong with flex ?

  • @12salem weight is an issue when your truck is already a few tons, boxing a frame adds more weight. Same reason why big rigs dont use giant disc brakes.

  • Your a jack ass. The frames are made to give. If they didn't they are more likely to break. Watch a loaded dump truck take off at a red light and see how much the frame twists ,are you going to say it fails also? Hey why don't u get out from behind your computer and go fail on your Huffy. Oh wait i bet u drive a Ridgeline

  • @batyc1 They are made to different standards and often crack or bend in real life. For them a fully boxed frame would be too much extra weight, kinda like how a big ass drum brake is overall lighter than a big ass disc brake. And I drive a Ranger, not a unibody piece of shit

  • funny how i don't remember seeing that lawsuit with all the tundra frames cracking left and right. oh yeah because it doesn't happen.

  • @tomcatdcn yeah some ppl jhust dont know how to take care of cars and then they blame to manufacture.

  • @ps3dethman1 hey mad ford is great I love all of the big three (even though I'm a dodge guy) but I agree with you America makes the best trucks. my mom had a 2000 ram that she tried to run into the ground never changing the oil after 15k miles (I saved it) thing runs like a charm to this day and has 200k on it with no problems. we had a toyota corolla ( i know shoot me) and the thing couldn't go 100k without the motor blowin up cost 5 grand to fix it.

  • @batyc1 frames are not made to give... in trucks they're made to be stiff so it doesn't bend when you load 3000 lbs in the bed and drive it around. that's why I will never drive a toyota piece of shit. It's always gonna be the big three for me jap fag.

  • @batyc1 nothings wrong with the ridgeline.

  • @hackkitt my f-250 has 172k miles on it an the tranny has never failed, my friends f350 has 289k miles and it has never had a problem, same with my other friends 97 f250 that has 220k miles, my dads toyota tundra that he just got used with 70k miles slips for a second when it gose into lock-up, its in the shop waiting for a new torque converter.

  • A more rigid frame should make better ride quality non-weighted cause it won't shake the frame and make you feel every bump, but if you want to have a bigger payload, that won't obliterate your springs, flexability is needed.

  • As if your smarter than some japanese engineers that designed this thing.....

  • Hey, watch carefully. But you gotta watch carefully. Watch carefully while you watch carefully. Hey... Watch carefully

  • Its called torque my friend.
