this is the main plot behind warhammer 40k and Horus Heresy. its intended for anyone who does not know the story of the imperium. its an easy way to understand the general idea of the war between space marines and chaos marines. it does not have all the details, but a good sum of the story.

and again, (realy sorry bout this by the way but i cant help it) you seem to have got the Adeptus arbites mixed up with the inquisition (which was started by malcador the sigilite) and it was Guilliman who took over the ruling of the Imperium (sort of) and he also wrote the Codex astartes which is the tome by which all current astartes must live by

sorry again, another niggle. The heresy was revealed at istvaan III where Horus sent about half the solders from5 legions onto the planet 9the ones he thought wouldnt side with him), virus bombed the whole planet, then engulfed the planet with fire to kill nay survivor. it was at this point Garro (detah guard loyalist), bugger off to terra n told the Emporor. Alpha legion n iron warriors were revealed on Istvaan V where instead of helping loyalists, they slaughtered them

plus, with Cruze. in response to the corruption on his homeworld he just blew the fucker up, thats not why he turnned. its believed he had split personalities. This is believed as he allows an Imperial assassin to kill him after the heresy as he says he has done wrong and needs to be punished (or they think the assassin killed him, they lost contact just before he was supposed to die) sorry bout this by the way, ive looked into the lore way too much

you make it sound like the emporor was worshiped as a god prior to the great crusade. He wasn't, well he was by the word bearers but the reason they turned to chaos is because the Emporor bollocked em bick style for it. He refused to be worshiped, odly enough, if he didnt then they wouldnt have turned to chaos n everythin would be fine. i no like Lorgar
