@blackheart44 -- Exactly. Some of my favorite songs from the 80's (my pre-teen and teenage years) are songs that either just missed the Top 40, or were 'minor' Top 40 hits. In 1982, the CHR format hit Detroit with 96.3 FM becoming the "Hot Rockin' Flame Throwin' WHYT DETROIT! HIT FM!" They played EVERYTHING on the Top 100 chart, and I mean everything....this song would be followed by Michael Jackson then Def Leppard then Kenny Rogers then the Pointer Sisters then Night Ranger....ahhh, memories.
I Love this song! It just goes to show that even songs that rank in the bottom 40 are just as good as those in the top. If you don't broaden your horizon, you're sure to miss out on gems like these. And it's nice to hear a remastered version for once. ;)
